Excess hair

Shaving, waxing, threading, repeat — the cycle is the concern as much as the hair. Concentrated light is the one approach that slows the cycle itself.

What is actually going on

Laser targets the pigment in the follicle, and a course works because hair grows in phases: the light only reaches follicles that are actively growing, so each session catches a different share of them. That is why the honest offer is a course, never one visit.

The fine, downy hair on the face is usually too light for a laser to see. Dermaplaning lifts it away in a single visit, along with the outermost layer of dead skin.

What helps at home

  • Between laser sessions, shave rather than wax — the follicle has to stay put

  • SPF on any treated area, every day

  • A patch test before the first session, always

Where a treatment can help

Talk it through first

A consultation is a conversation, not a commitment. Tell us what you are seeing and we will suggest the right next step — even when that step is not a treatment.
